The Brake Shop did the conversion so I don't know if they redrilled the discs or used blanks=undrilled.
The calipers are 300ZX 4 spots
PS could have had bigger discs but wanted the option of fitting factory 15s

Just when the car has been trouble free and everything is fine WTF is going to go wrong happen next :?
Well Allan aka Avandul is staying here with us and thought it would be good for him to drive my car to compare the shifter feel in our RX7 boxes.
About 3 k into the drive and a gentle downshift for a hill in a 60k zone and there was no drive in any gear, no bang, clunk, rattle or grinding noise whatsoever, lucky there was enough room to stop on the side of a single lane hilly section and shortly after a fellow senior citizen stopped to see if he could help and kindly drove me home so I could hitch up the trailer while Allan stayed with the car. Lucky for me/us the trailer had a hand winch otherwise we would have difficulty getting it on the trailer.
So The motor starts and the drive shaft does not turn when in any gear so we are thinking that the centre of the solid centre button clutch plate may have come adrift .

What do you think it will be????????

One positive is that it happened in time to get it fixed before the Gatton sprints and that Allan was there as i wouldn't have been able to get it on the trailer without his help

Thanks Robert .Nothing quite like doing it in the dirt as the grip level is always changeing and back then there were no pacenotes and you had to rely on the navigators map reading skills. Can still clearly remember him calling down a X road & it got a little hairy when it turned out to be an offset X road in the middle of a what on the map appeared to be fairly long straight. Don't know how fast as never checked speedo on competitive stages lol

Correct :) and so you should be seeing you were driveing at the time when it broke :x LOL
The RaceClutch solid centre 4 puck splines had obviously been loose for some time and the rivets holding the spline to the plate and worn the rivet holes into elongated slots and sheared thru the rivets
So did this happen due to A too much power or B poor manufacture :?
Will get #2 son to post pic
PS Dave you were spot on
PPS good that it happened before the Gatton sprints.
PPPS Thanks to Lee Thomas it's all good now :beer

Saw 170 k on dirt waaaay back when I had 130 hp atw in the Datto
If you are referring to the gearbox Allan didn't have enough behind the wheel time to compare them before it broke .
