Hi my name is Lee and basically have 2.6 staz running gear in a triton ute tray back , it turns heads ie what the fuck! as it has an open gate , ex coltspeed mechanic back in the late eighties (yep Im old) hoping to meet or catch up with a few people I havent seen for a long time -and a big thanks to Jason for helping me out cheers

Ron still has Coltspeed but located up at Pt Macquarie now. Coltspeed was THE place to be in Sydney during the 80's, 90's and '00ies if you had a performance Mitsubishi. Lots of good stuff went on there and many many good laughs were had in the heyday. Lots of good friendships was formed there. Could almost have called it Cultspeed given the number of Starions and people who hung out there.
Welcome aboard Lee, I dont think I ever met you as I came onto the scene a while after you would have left. Your sort of vehicle was typical of some of the stuff that Ron turned out in his heyday. I still see Dave Masing from time to time and yes he's still playing with Mitsi's and making them go faster. LOL

Im good friends with Dave (know him since he was in kindy) yeah i was at the very beginning of the starion faze,the lancer sports sedan was my heyday , the Windfield triple challenge was the start of the Group A staz ,and i was there Yeah Ron made you laugh (I could tell some stories of drunken escapades) he was always open to new ideas and I learnt things i use everyday from him ,(trying to convince him to open up a shop in sydney again)thanks for the welcome

Good luck with that one Lee, It would be good to see but I think he is happy up at Port!
You never know, one day he might get board and come back. Our sports man and Musicians do it all the time rofl
