Why?
I think the move towards electric cars is a good idea.
Most electric cars these days can get around 160k's out of a charge and costs cents to recharge. How many people would, on a daily basis, travel more then 160k's a day?
I remember watching a doco about electric cars in America, the biggest concern when talking to Americans was the range, but studys showed that Americans on average travel in their cars less then 30k's :? Americans
Plus I think the Delorians are a sweet car! Stainless FTW!

I would totally buy it. They upgraded the interior which was a nice touch, but left the body retro which is in my opinion, Perfect. (Not better than a starion body IMO)
I travel more than 160km in a day, but I would totally buy this and save hundreds on my commute each week.

Further to that, what would you do when the bloody thing runs out of charge? It won't matter right if you get it to 88 miles an hour...?

Guess the same thing that happens when you run out of gas... push.
Electric car might not suit the odd person, but i'm sure at least 90% of the population it would...

I live on the Gold Coast and work in Brisbane.
I would hope that you could hook the car up at work to charge it while you were working for 8 hours...
But yeah, I would just push to get up to 88MPH and go back and see some vintage honeys.. :beer
Maybe even startup google.

Traffic can vary, it can be a good run like this morning, 45min or a bad run which is usual of 1h 15min. Or the worst case 2 hr's HUGE traffic jams. Which doesn't happen too often.
As for the vintage women, whats wrong with women like this:
