RA21 Celica, same as TA22 everywhere else in the world.
In pretty good shape, has some questionable body work in places but is rust free in all the important places.
Plan to go with a 4g64 TC fully built with a RX7 TII transmission. Starion front suspension and hilux rear.

I've always seen these celica's as pocket sized mustangs with Jap styling!
But look at that backyard of yours :o Easily have a game of backyard cricket :)
And a few more starions on the boundary!!

Cool car!
There's one getting around here with a Toyota V8 and some very very nice simmons perhaps, some nice deep dish staggered wheels.

I actually carry around in my car at all times one of those mini cricket sets with 3/4 size stumps, bails and bat. Also plenty of tennis balls just in case we come across a yard like that! :D

Went to a backwoods redneck junkyard looking for trans to block plate for a ford and found the quest amongst the true junk. They were crushing cars and working towards the conquest. I asked him about it and he told me he picked it up off the side of the road abandoned and it had a Ford v8 swap (the reason he picked it up) The swap was botched to say the least. Told the owner I'd give him 200 for it and he agreed, with stipulations. I couldn't get it that day, had to come back the next, and never ever try to register it. I picked it up the following day and upon inspection when it got home, I found it had no VIN tags on it anywhere.
It was originally a black car. Some of the parts from it are in Australia and New Zealand.
Black Flatty is getting redone soon as I get a few more parts for it. Fiji widey is promised to another local enthusiast. Primer one was stripped down for a "drift car" by some dumbass kid. Red widey in the shop is my first and favorite, 89 SHP in excellent shape all around except engine which cracked a head.
This is my shop and not where I live (yet). The economy is crap here and it's just not a good time to outlay that much cash to build a house. I bought it quite a few years back after the owners divorced and the house mysteriously burned. 2.5 acres in the middle of town. I'm eyeing a 153 acre farm close by as well. I grew up living the rural life and would like my kids to experience the same. I can't afford to buy it and build a house.
Forgot to mention, I got this Celica cheeeeap.

Sounds like your junkyard guy just picked up a broken down car for scrap metal! That's why you had to go back the next day, he needed time to get the numbers off it :x
As for the economy, mate it's going down hill fast over here too. :glare:
Lots of bargains around at the moment but no cash to do anything with them. I hope things pick up soon!
I had a 76 Celica stock as a rock! then an 1980 RA28 I think (could be wrong) With an 18RGU twin Cam with twin 45mm Delorto's. It went good, but stopped and turned badly. BUT that made way for my 1st JB :D :D :D :D
I've put my order in for a Wide Body starion for my 40th next year! Lets see how that goes :beer :beer :beer :beer
