Your mechanic. Concretefloor, put it on the hoist, spray it from underneatha nd use the aircompressor.

Hope you're friendly with them.

You will need to regrease any joints after it's done because it will wash almost everything off (linkages etc)

Hot wash

Post by starionc »

I don't think your mechanic will go for that based on the mess it will make in his workshop! A mate of mine worked for a big dealership a few years back, the dealer got fined $2k or so for a wet floor!!!!!!!!!!!! It was wet from cleaning up oil!! That fine was over $10k........ WORKCOVER SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try a truck wash, one that does RTA rego washing!!! I used one here in Penrith every rego! Trucks over 10Tone GVM have to go to the RTA to be inspected every frigging year GRRRRRrrrr

Cheers Jason.

Take car ramps or jack stands late at night to a 24 hour car wash. Take your own industrial-strength degreaser, then hit it with the pressure washer.
Change of clothes and you're done, saves you pissing off your workshop mates too.
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...
