NZ people - what's an auto '82 GSR-II worth?

Post by dirtygalant »

Hey guys,

Came across a chap through a friend wishing to sell his 1982 jap import A183A Starion GSR-II Automatic. G63B with TC05 non-intercooled turbo. Is silver in colour but has had many touch up jobs over the years, and the front bumper is primer grey. Maroon interior and factory 14" steel wheels painted black with good tyres all round. It has travelled only 103,000kms and has just had the cambelt done along with a set of ignition leads. It appears to drive fine, just could do with a bit of a cosmetic tidy up. Not modified at all, though appears to have had a full stainless exhaust system at some stage.

I was thinking of grabbing it but have realised I probably wont have the space for it. Just wondering what you guys would think it's worth, and if anyone would be interested in it?

sure - here's some pics taken by the owner, doesn't really do it justice.

the only real faults I could find other than the rough paintwork was the headlamp switch was broken so an aftermarket one had been fitted to the lower dash, the struts in the hatch need replacing (I have spares), and the driver's seat has a bit of a wear hole on the bolster, and is covered by a seat cover.

If I were to grab it I would spray the front bumper, lower front valance and the wheels silver again. It just has a few small dents in the panels and patches where the paint has been poorly touched up. Has had one owner for a number of years.

yeah I was thinking of nabbing it myself, drive it around for a while while tidying it up, then selling off again later on but the reality is I wont have the time to do so. Thought I would see if anyone here would be willing to grab it before he chucks it up on trademe and has to deal with the onslaught of drop kicks.

Just looking at the photos you can see the K's are genuine... engine bay looks great and the interior looks really good to.
