Being money conscious gives me budget ideas. :)
TIG up your own 3 inch exhaust..... yeah!!
Complete with Aero chamber muffler from the states ($140 delivered)
Mandrel pipe work ($148)
Stuff paying $700 or more at a performance exhaust workshop.

*cut, fit and tack pipes
*perge and weld.

BOOM BAM! You have a fully sick exhaust. :D

This is my dump/merge pipe. It took 6 hours to fabricate and I'm happy with the result. It's nothing fantastic but it should flow and scavenge well.

cheers fella's, :beer . This is the extent you have to go to if you wanna run a nissan BB turbo. Actually, I could have used a dump from ebay but then I would have had to cut a hole in the bonnet cause it's 180 deg the wrong way around. :o LOL

noice

does the flex joint help at all? I was advised not to bother with one, as they are apparently meant for east/west engine configurations, where the engine has a bit of forward - backward motion?

I have made the dump pipe following down the fire wall rigid fixing it to the gearbox so there is no stress on the dump, turbo and manifold when the exhaust moves about.
