I feel this place is like a family to me....

So when i need opinions or help I sometimes come here for things I have no Idea about.
.............................like computers. After all this time why are they still a pain in my ass.

I have a scanner, It's not new but it's in mint condition and it's an EPSON PERFECTION 610 which were pretty good. Thing is since I have done a fresh Install I cant find ANY software on the net for it. Not that Im a great searcher or anything but I did download one and it worked but had all these images when u scanned and printed something. I know someone here will have the knowledge of what/where to do/go to help my sorry ass out.

Thanks for any help in advance!
Your bro Flav.h

1. Start up your PC
2. Press F8 every 2 seconds after initial PC info comes up on the screen
3. Choose 'Safe Mode'
4. Login and wait for PC to finish booting
5. A message will appear telling you the PC is running in 'Safe Mode' - Click 'Yes' at the bottom of the message
6. Click on 'Start' / 'Settings' / 'Control Panel' and open 'Add or Remove Programs'
7. Find the Epson driver in the list, click on it to highlight it, then click 'Change/Remove' button on right hand side
8. Follow the prompts to uninstall the driver and any other associated software
9. Restart your PC

This 'should' return you to where you were before the driver was installed.
Let us know how you go...
Good luck!

You've got to keep pushing F8 until you get the screen with the startup options on it...

What sort of keyboard are you using?
Is it a Microsoft one that you have to push the 'F Lock' key in order to use the 'F' keys?
