epiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiic understeer LOL like way worse than the JB with the same suspension. definitely need some stiffer springs in there before i head out again.. looks like i'll be getting the coil over thing happening sooner rather than later!

nah i tried EVERYTHING.... if the handbrake worked well enough to lock em at 80 i would've been right though, but scandi flick, weight transfer (ie foot brakes), clutch dumps etc nothing worked, well clutch dumps worked under 60kph lol but that was just gay. so i ended up going to the wet skidpan area and carved that up instead

mates said it was lifting front wheels on the wet skidpan.. it's done that at gympie skidpan too, i've got pics of it doing it..

You may have a to stiff front bar or you can add a heavier rear bar to help negate the front bar + a hydraulic handbrake as IMHO the Staz ones are as usefull as an ashtray on a motorbike :(
To reduce understeer tyre preasure front you need more & the rear less, more neg camber on front, softer front springs and stiffer rears and more positive front caster for starters

nah actual bolt on coilovers.. :)

rad i've already got 2.2 degrees neg camber front, 7.5 degrees caster, adjustable shocks front, just stock rear shocks though, and kings lows all round just doesnt cut it...

Nice going drifting it tho! Even if it didn't handle so great.

Yeh my JB was very soggy drifting, but I had the standard springs and shocks, so I'm doing a coilover setup now too. Kinda have plenty of time to do it, since I blew the bottom end in my old tired engine at the last drift practise, and have to rebuild that as well! Ah well.

yeah kings lows just dont cut it for drifting...

funny though, the old orange car got a hit out at qr back in 2004 not long after i painted it, with an open diff and kings i managed to get decent angle, used to straighten during the slide though due to the open diff. i was able to initiate that car using the handbrake though, but this one wont come close to locking the rear wheels at speed...
