I imported 3 recently and they ended up costing $145.00 AUD each incl post
Paul is a straight shooter who ships via UPS and lets you know when they are sent & all the info needed for you to track where they are on the way. Perfect tight fit with everything you need right down to a new pan drain plug washer :D

I'm sure this pan adds strength to the GB-housing... but what fucks up when something actually fucks up due to to much torque?
Is it the housing or something inside? Or both?

I think its the housing twisting that kills the high powered ones. As apposed to old age in most other starions :)

Well.. giving it some extra thought... if the housing isn't rigid enough the inner parts will be more stressed...

the gears are too small in diameter thereby making the case try to spread apart under big power loads. the alloy pan was originally a ralliart option part (as was the 6 bolt diff), but ended up as a regular production part on the last starions (as was the 6 bolt diff).
