Newbie from the UK PICS

Hi all, my names Steve from Surrey in England,


Have recently bought a starion to restore, it has had a recent respray, and I am in the process of rebuilding engine.

yep only 88/89 had the lip. this is a 2 LITRE 87 widey, the pick of the bunch :)

the UK spec 2L was faster than the 2.6...

oh and traser, MAKE SURE u put twin cam pistons in it NOT the stock type as they have design flaws which make them prone to failure in multiple areas :)

interesting engine hoist. Never seen one like that.

Hi all, thanks for the comments,


Yeah its the 87 widebody! didnt like the 2.6's at all so waited for a 2.0,

the engine hoist is works on a screw thread in place of the hydraulic cylinder, best 70 quid I ever spent though!!!
