Hey Glen, did you pay for the cams by credit card, you can still do a chargeback as you never received the goods.

i used my brothers paypal
the story goes:::

brought a turbo from them
they couldnt get me the turbo i wanted so they got me a cheaper one
so there was money left over they could eather refund me differents or i could put a few more $$$ in and they would send me a set of cams!

so i said yer i will put a few more $$$ in and they send me the cams.
they said to me they will get the cams in stock in 10 days

so about 3 weeks later and no word on the progress i sent a few emails.
nothing back so i went looking for them on the net, couldnt find them
then i googled them and found out they out of business!
it said this:
SpeedClinic has gone out of business, if you have an open order with us please email speedclinicbackorders@gmail.com.

gmailed them no answer!
and that was about 3 months ago

by the time i went back to paypal it has already been put throught so yer!
what a bummer :?

If you added funds to the Paypal payment with your/or his Credit Card (rather then Bank account) you can still do a charge back with your Bank. Which actually retrieves the money against Paypal.

This is also why Paypal purposely make the default payment method "Bank transfer" so that you can't do these "unlimited time period" charge backs.. but you can change the method to your Credit card during the payment process.

Hope this helps you or at least someone else.

Now that is really good and interesting info about Paypal! I always wondered why it defaulted to bank transfer. I always change it to my credit card cos it's nicer to spend money that way haha. But yeh worth knowing about that!
Thanks!

WOW speedclinic is out of business? So glad I got my pistons and rods from them when I did. Saved me a bucket load.

Anyway, great find. I am slightly jealous of you now
