Its time...

Its coming time that my staz came off the road (its close to 300,00km) and got some well earned rest and tlc. The things it needs are mounting up. I made a quick list of problems: rhr strut, exhaust and manifold gasket, pwr steer box and idler arm, tyers, lhr driveshaft boot, oil leaks and many other small things I haven’t had time to do.
So I am in the market for a replacement daily driver, something that will be as enjoyable as the staz but cheaper to run. Looking at a pug 205gti but worried about the costs.
Any help on either fixing the staz or getting a new dd would be appreciated.
