Aussie Top Gear - OMG

Post by Darkelf »

First episode of Top Gear and Starions get a mention! How good is that?

Well actually not very - they were bagging Mitsubishi car names in a segment called "What were they thinking" and of course what was the first name of the rank....you guessed it quickly followed by the bloody Stallion story!!!!

The second he mentioned Mitsubishi, I knew he was going to mention the Starion (and the "stallion" rubbish). LOL

I don't think the point was to have a go at the car though - just the name of it.

Being a true optimist that I am, I'm hoping its gets better, leaving the best till last, as episode 1 was crap. :( bring back Jeremy ! My wife always watched the pommy show, but last night she turned it off. (I had to watch it on the TV in the other room)

the only time the starion played up on clarksen was when he whacked that huge turbo on without upgrading the radiator........and still it kicked ass......until it died.... go the staz. can anyone tell me what a cartoonist knows about cars that still has me a bit confused!

actually the only reason that one overheated was coz clarkson stuffed it into a dirt bank on the first lap and filled the radiator fins up with dirt

I thought it was very average and it will need to find its own identity if people are going to watch...........
The first episode was a lame take off, right down to the line..... who wants to see the lap.......... :(

I hope it gets better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't get a chance to see it, now I am glad. I knew it would be a take off, just didn't think they would be so crap at it.
