I want to put new shocks into my car today. (i know not likely)
I'm fairly sure they are unavailable but wanted to check to see if someone had a solution that doesn't involve shipping them across the planet.

I fitted monroe inserts to my other car years ago, but have no idea what shock I used or off which car.
Any ideas?

Just want to get car back on wheels so I can get it back to the paint shop.

Have you rung a couple of suspension places? I think there is still a listing for the front inserts and if not they will be able to sell you something very similar. I spoke to a guy up in Auckland in Autolign (I think) in April about it and he seemed to think getting the front inserts was not a prob.

George Stocks the importers of KYB Shocks into NZ still have the Starion front inserts listed in their online catalogue (http://www.georgestock.co.nz/catalogue/KYB/KYB.htm), the part number is 365029, have a ring around a few suspension places and see if they can order them in.

you can put many inserts into the starion front housing - im running KYB AGX 4 way adjustable and they are brillant. adjustable at the top to so its very easy to do. Just had to make a spacer which wasnt hard.

Hey Dan
A mate up here who works for a parts place says he can get front inserts.
Last time i checked they were about $80 each.
My new KYB GR2 front and rears are on the way from the USA as we speak, they were just on 600 all up shipped here but since the rears are discontinued think its well worth it.
