hey everyone i need urgent help... thats if anyone can help me. ok i brought 2 ja starions and one of my motors is blow up so im using the other motor but the engine number is weird... it has 4G63 SPEEDY on it... i don't have rego papers or anything but i wish to know anything about it like wat it means, where it comes from, why its like it and can it be rego in NSW Australia... i have asked a few people who own starions and they don't know about it so could someone give me some help plz...

Just looks like someone was playing funny buggers and stamped that on when they rebuilt the engine at some stage . Shouldn't be a rego problem , you'll just need to show them the 'number' at the RTA when you register it .

Check the car with that engine matches the rego papers.
If it doesn't and you put it in another car it won't get registered. Engine was possibly stolen somewhere along the way....hence the dodgy numbers.

Won't be a good problem changing blocks as long as you show them , but that's a good point so it would pay to call the RTA and make sure it's not stolen just to be sure , you never know .
