With NINE starions at a meet!! (By the way, he's in Melbourne, VICTORIA!)
And that picture was taken before the other 2 starions rocked up...

I'll be there where/whenever

As much as i love driving my staz on dirt, i'm sure a lot of the people with nice flashy cars don't want stone chips in em, somewhere tarmac where we can have track cruising and motorkhanas would be good

If it's organised, i'll be there (with the most probable exception of WA - sorry but it's around a 48 hour drive from here and I have driven Brisbane>Alice Springs without stopping which is around 30 hours so screw that :) ).

Vic somewhere would be good I think as half of the people here come from Melbourne, plus it's driving distance from most places. It would be good if it wasn't too far away from a capital though - maybe an hour or so tops.

You're all starting to get the idea.

Benalla/Winton. Plenty accommodation, plenty of eateries. Motorkhana's, lap dashes, etc, not too far from Melbourne about 7 hours from Sydney, less from Canberra and a bit more from Adelaide. Gee, who has a race team just up the road at Albury that used to drive factory Starions in Japan.

Sound decent choice?

I'm not sure where these places are that you have mentioned wantsom, (never been interstate/overseas  )but If you think it's all good, then I will make it there. Trying to get Jackie as guest speaker? :P (Admit it, it would be bloody good if he did it!)
You think that's fast??? You got nothin' on Roger!!

Sounds good. Are we talking a 3-day meet here? Or perhaps a week? Whats on your mind?

3 days - Saturday to Monday.
Likely to be -

saturday - show n shine followed by a cruise
Saturday night - dinner and whatever afterwards
Sunday - at track for 'around the cones', go/whoa, lap dashes and that sort of thing. I vave a few ideas on this and looking into something a bit different and interesting etc
Monday - remove hangover, hang out with other members, bit of a free day etc.

Cheers
Greg

I'm in for sure.
Greg - it may be a better idea to start another thread once a date & place have been finalised to get a better idea on attendance numbers.
At least this way it will become apparent if numbers are lacklustre.

What sort of numbers are you anticipating?

I'm a definite.. i'll even make finishing the 2JZ in time a priority :)

(I put a new timing belt on it today.. fark me it's easy compared to the ridiculous starion setup!)

I'll probably come as well as long as Scorpions are invited. I have a couple of Starions but they aren't on the road yet.
By day he is mild-mannered Chris Fernance, by night he becomes...ASTRON-man. "Defender of all things Scorpion, from the evil forces of COMMODORE-man"
