You may need the Xvid codec to run the movie in Windows Media Player.

It includes some clips of the movie, a tour of the 4WD Starion and some footage shot at the http://www.eci-turbo.com shop in Japan."

Got my copy last week, plot was pretty ordinary but did work.
I got caught up laughing at the subtitles, some pretty funny engrish going on, like calling porsche's bmw's and how group B was cancelled after a TRAGIC,
almost pissed myself at what sounded like Cookie Monster singing the song in the last race scene.

This is where I got mine from,
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Drift-Special-St ... dZViewItem

or just type in special stage and search worldwide there are a few about.

it is NTSC not PAL but it plays ok in my cheap shit DVD player or on most computers. Coded region 0 all regions.
Probably wont work if you have a good quality Aussie delivered DVD coz of PAL/NTSC bullshit.

1. Look for one that lists english subs they're better than nothing.
2. Try to get all region code version will work on many dvd players and computer.

got my copy and watched the movie.. a bit too artsy to be a car movie.. too many emotions and not enough cool driving..

most of the time the driving didn't look that fast either..

just getting to see a cool as starion in action (albeit not enough action) was the highlight of the movie for me

Pretty ordinary movie really.
Good job it didn't cost me much to buy.
The highlights are definitely when the Starion is on the screen, but asides from that it's hard to follow what's going on, and the translation is dreadful.
It's worth watching for the Starion, but that's really it.

the same reason there's the word drift on the cover, and the subtitles are shit.

the copies we're getting are from malaysia and are well done cheap rip offs. wait for the real japanese dvd release to come (if it comes)

knowing a very few japanese words myself, i know we're getting only half the story from the very average subtitles on this version.

the starion action is good, but yeah the movie itself aint no blockbuster....

The real Japanese DVD is available, that's where the copies came from. Unfortunately the real DVD does not include subtitles.
