We use leaf blowers here all the time, cleans up the path nice.

An appropriately sized leaf blower... Perhaps using one of those tuned-pipe boosted, racing chainsaw motors, now that could provide the 1.21 gigawatts we require to get our delorians moving.
Actually, a small 2 stroke would do the job, just a bit hard to fit under a starion bonnet. There are some model boat/model ducted fan jet engines that have some serious power outputs. 5 Hp at 28,000 RPM for an 18cc boat engine for example. would only need to be geared up by 3:1 and it would be in the ballpark. From experience with smaller, less highly strung engines they may be a bitch to get started in the morning but they'd do the job.. The noise would be fantastic.

The thomas knight system is feasible. Would kill the battery fairly quickly (as in - to the point where it won't chanrge properly any more) but As far as the design goes, it is not unreasonable to make 5psi from an 8 HP motor, the current is still going to be large. Can't avoid the laws of nature.

I rang up about the TURBO ZET electronic turbo.This is the specs i got
PRICE-$500
MAX RPM-50 000
MAX BOOST
MAX BOOST MAX BOOST-1 PSI,YES 1PSI.
The guy said even he sold it to ford falcons.
$500 bucks for bloody 1 psi.
My dash powerd cordia is like a ferrari,in a cordia chassis.
