I'm a bit like you in this Daz .I used to love watching Longhurst drive the M3 Beamer at 10/10ths all day and worry the v8s in the twisty bits and wear them down at the end .Also loved the Moffat RX7 for the same reason :)Vulpes wrote:Bottom line is Bathurst stopped being interesting when they stopped things like Escorts, starions, skylines etc racing. the glory days of bathurst are long gone. Even the 2 litre supertourers shat all over the V8 boringcars, sorry I meant boganscars because there was such a mix of makes and configs: fwd, rwd, 4cyl, 5cyl. And they were at each other on the track...was exciting viewing.
