my personal fav = Adobe Photoshop, currently on CS but CS2 is available. Can be bought for about 1k, but you can also download a backup in case your official one gets scratched... or something

yeah thats what i did, i downloaded my office backup cause my original photoshop 8/CS/CS2 all got scratched and unreadable :P

theres also a linux version of photoshop call G.I.M.P
Its a free download but take a be to get used to. to me photoshop is easier to use.
