gearbox, drag link, left hand door, front guard, lh pop up headlight assembly etc etc but the freight to get em up here if u still had em would be a killer!
just remember that parts for these cars will eventually run out, and u will be kicking yourselves for chucking that rusty but straight door/guard/nose cone in 10 years time when u just cant find em anymore!
it has happened with other cars (RX3`s datsuns gemini`s not to mention older cars like 30`s fords that hot rodders like), it`ll happen with starions aswell! i ALWAYS try and repair rusty or bent panels where possible, the less panels etc we use now means more available in future to keep em on the road after u have an accident for example!
or maybe i`m just a horder :roll:

You're just a hoarder! :D
The gearbox was ok I suppose, but how many do I need? Both doors were destroyed with rust, beyond repair! Left Hlight was crushed on the interior, front remaining guard was rusted through about the size of a basketball at the bottom of the wheel arch!
We we're devastated pulling it apart as it looked the business, and certain parts of the body were in fantastic condition, but sadly we were a few years too late to save her!

UPDATE:
Things have just gone from bad to worse! The engine we salvaged with the broken piston is actually destroyed! :x
When we finally dismantled it, we found what seems to be an engine built by a 5 year old blind child with one hand! :?
* Rings were in backwards.
* Bearings were not even from a Starion and had been forced in to fit, which caused them to wear on one side only!
* Head was wrecked, full of deep scratchs and gouges.
* Clutchplate looked like it had be attacked with a grinder.
* Bores were so badly eaten\damaged that they would need to be re-bored
* Water pump had been completely corroded away
* The list goes on...
So, we were hardly surprised that there had been a hole in a piston!
Here's the clincher... the engine was built by RPW in Perth! Aren't these guys allegedly the THE Starion guys in W.A? :? LOL LOL rofl :x
