1.6 60' is a hard leave
is it a stock vg30 t3 or trick wheels/machined housings
what type of management (I see no afm)
custom header I suppose
mated w58 to vr4 block with custom bellhousing ?
webpage on this car would be nice

'Alex' on starquestclub has a 2.0 dohc widebody. He adapted the starion gbox and eventually busted it (5k= clutch dumps). Went 11s on a bigger turbo. Quite a few of these type swaps around and more in progress

I believe that a guy from Canada is making a 2.0 DOHC adaptor kit for the Starion box. Once upon a time the 2.0 DOHC conversion was frowned upon over in the US. Nice to see a decent amount of change these days.

From that timeslip it looks like a turbo upgrade is definitely needed to go quicker. Time for a GT30 (or bigger) :)

are you suggesting that a vr4 starion in good nick @ 15psi has a chance of running a 13sec or so pass out the box?!?!

there was a red JB with a vr4 conversion at the meremere drags a while back, it had a fair bit of work done to it, the guy was running high 13's, traction seemed to be more of an issue than anything else (had an LSD too). he was doing well in class 2 until the supras showed up :x

I've run a 13.9 and plenty of flat 14's with a stock box.
