It always freaks me out sitting underneath that thing - death by projector doesn't really appeal to me for some reason :roll:

CRT is the only way to go! Pixels are crap.

I have a Sony but am shopping for a 9" Electrohome atm. Over 2000 lines resolution. :)

LCD is good for presentations and slideshows

DLP is good for watching movies....


PICK ONE! they are only good for their certain uses.

thats one seriously old tech projector cookie... tri-globes are expensive to replace...

Mum has a DLP whooptie-doo projector at her place, its crazy shizat.

I have only watched 3 movies on it, but she hasnt got a propper screen. walls SUCK for projecting onto. especially when its off white color.... Tried to convince her into a screen but shes 'happy' with the setup she has at the moment.. i would be too, her sub is bigger then her coffee table :P
