I think for a time it was the fastest 2.0l production car, not sure if that was true towards the end of the 80s though

Yeah, what a cheeky bugger! Bought for 3400 or less, then re-advertises it for $7000 or $8000buy now!
Not really fair when theres genuine enthusiasts out there.
I actually commented on his auction but he had it wiped off! (Slaps mike on the wrist with a wet bus ticket) teehee

Ticks me off a little bit too, but that's just jealousy because he got there first with the cash and got it cheap, heh :-).

$6500 is probably a pretty fair price. If the guy managed to buy it and sell it again within a week and make a couple of grand... Well, I wont't say 'good on him'... But it's not that terrible. He was in the right place, at the right time, with the right cash.

haters gonna hate.

This is how used car dealers make money, so it's interesting that everyone's hating on him.

He doesn't have to be an enthusiast to buy and sell. I'd rather it sell at the inflated price because chances are someone who actually wants something this pristine will buy it instead of a young kid out for his first turbo car to thrash.. name pun not intended. If it doesn't sell and he neglects it, then yes, shame on him.

Furthermore, there's no evidence that what he's saying isn't a spin off from the truth - maybe he bought it to keep, and then the wife took one look at it and went "it goes or i go" and he's gone "ok, i'll put it up for a much higher price and if it sells, i've just made a decent amount, and if it doesn't, then i get to pretend nobody's buying it and keep it"

Any evidence to say this is not the case? Him not having an accurate depiction of Starion history or specs isn't really evidence. I didn't know anything about them before i purchased my first one and i'm still here more than half a decade later. We all have to start somewhere
