yeah, ok, stupid electric seat belts.

now, back to the main game, what about LSDs.

all the staz drivers I know, bar 2, want them.
can we arrange something. as you only have 3.5:1 ratio, we wont want the whole thing, just the center, less crown wheel and pinion.

also, some of us want 5 stud hubs etc. can do ?

Yeah the wow factor of auto seat belts would die in like 5 mins. But the idea of 5 stud hubs is good. I know a few people who would love to be able to get a set of thse beautiful 15 inch wheels onto there car.
I had a look over a wide body article and found that the seats are different and are pretty nice looking (in good nick) compared to ours. They ain't as adjustable though. food for others thought.

LSD's could be done, as they're fairly common over here. The only problem is shipping would most likely be very expensive.

5-lug conversion can be done. I forget what all is needed, but i'll do some looking tonight.

BzurcTSi wrote:As for the belts, it's actually kinda funny, as most people in the US hate the "Automatic Passive Restraint" belts, and the hot item to swap is the pre-87, regular seatbelt components.
do u have them on the doors like us? eg. on your narrowbody there? i've seen u in flatsider mech a couple of times, glad to see some of you guys actually like them! we've got heaps here

Yes, our 86 and under had the seatbelts in the doors (see pic).

I do have a little thing for the flatsiders...I grew up riding in the back seat of an 85.5 ESI (only factory intercooled flatsider they made for the US), so naturally there's a bit of nostalgia with me and the flatty's.

As an uncomplicated kiwi, all I want is a starion badge that goes on the rear hatch...sigh!

If I'd known 10 years ago that you would have liked a narrow body factory intercooed dash. There were a few kicking around here for sale.
Ah the good old days

The 85-86 have a different door panel setup...the window controls are mounted at the foreward part of the arm rest.

I have 2 sets of emblems for the hatchlid in my garage, both the "Conquest [Imported for Dodge]", and the "Starion"/"Mitsubishi Motors". They aren't perfect, but i bet I could clean them up with a little compound and get them looking nice.

I bet I know something that you US resident Starion/Conquest owners would LOVE.

JA bonnets!
These are the bonnets that have the vents and scoop, not the flat ones.
I knew a guy in the US who was going to buy all that I could supply of these. He's since sold his car though :(

i wonder if the retracting mechanism bit is in the same place and it just enters the door trim in a different spot?
