over here in the state most car manufacturers used what we cal a promotional model. scale size i think was around 1/12. did AU.
auto manufacturers use these as well?

Do you mean the Die Cast models?

If so check ebay. There is HEAPS of them on there all the time. I am pretty sure there are about 6 on there atm. A few widebody ones and some straight body ones too.
