What types of heavy duty water hoses are out there?

Post by Wraith »

Hey all, on the way home decided to give her a spurt  against a riced up civic and blew a water hose :x around the back of the block, heater hose i think, lucky he didnt see the steam  quickly pulled in a side street to inspect damage and fount it to be the hose had split from the pressure. :wtf:

so my question is what hoses do u guys run? and are there better quality items out there? i have the water cooled turbo so alot of pressure probably came from that and i need hoses that can stand up to that sort of pressure!

ideas, suggestions and advice are all welcome!
:D
thanks all :beer

Man al hoses are the same, unless U get silcone units which R expensive! Now when was the last time u replaced or even looked that hose? My guess is that it was probally 6 yrs old at least, would U leave yr radiator hoses on a car for that long? probally not, just get repco/supercheap units they are made by MACKAY which R good reinforced units.

Hint Hint to every1, CHECK OR REPLACE THESE HOSES EVERY 2 YRS! :beer
