Lambo or Ferrari?

Post by flav »

Dont give me Greif on this one..........
Im looking at buying a Testarossa or a Countach.
They are similar in price, whats your fave? I have been in both and they are both good and bad in areas.
Let me know what experience, if any, that you have had with these cars.
...shit, the gf is gonna kill me for this one!

I'd go Ferrari. I've never been a fan of Lambo'.

I have reasons, but theyre based on TV, so I'll keep my mouth shut as I've never driven either.

1996 Nissan Maxima VQ30DE (for sale, suit someone who likes the feel of boats when driving)

You gunna start stockpiling them too? rofl

Which is easier to get into?

What will it cost to insure? (just the difference I mean)

Can you get either in a colour other than red?

I'll gladly be a passenger while you test drive :D

First which Countach? As there is a few different ones.
My dads mate had one (it was white) I think it was one from the early 80’s. Dads mate still says it was his favourite of all the cars he owned (he had plenty of them, from Bentley to Holden, all of which ‘top of the line’). I was young when I got to go for a ride so I don’t really remember it. He sold it because people kept scratching it.
I have a car. I use it to drive to work, to drive to work I need petrol, petrol cost money, I must work to make this money… it’s a vicious cycle!

I reckon countach is cooler (gullwing FTW), but testarossa is more practical. I heard that reversing in a countach is practically impossible without opening the door and sticking your head out!

Oh, and if you buy a ferrari that isn't red, I'll fly over there and kick your ass. My mum's boss has a blue 355 (?) and it just doesn't seem right..

Ferrari. Nuff said. Pedigree counts for everything.

Like Merlin, I really really wish I had your dilemma.

Cheers

It must be in rossa coursa.
Bit of a quiz:
What does the word "Testarossa" mean?

The countach looks cool but is a horrible car to get in/out of and drive. Its known to be an absolute pig. The testarossa will be much more livable, but maybe even more ridiculously expensive to maintain. Id suggest an F355, but being a starion site we all know 80's coupes are the best :)

Personally a 328gtb would do me....

If you have that kind of money to spend you can't go past a 348 spider which I think is the prettiest ferrari ever made. There is an immaculate one for sale in melbourne .
There were only 18 imported into Australia.

Whats the difference between a QANTAS stewardess and a Ferrari?

Not everyone's been in a Ferrari.

testarossa, no question about it. Lambo is supposed to drive, handle and have the visability of a washing machine.
Best bit is the side pod thingys are twice as big in real life, fucken awesome.
