There's no reason you couldn't mount a fan on the other side of the radiator. You may need to source two small ones perhaps? Or don't drive in traffic :) Would look awesome once you scratch off that toyota writing on front of the engine.

Well, i was under the impression that pusher fans were not as efficient,hell, if there are some good pusher fans out there, then I can toss that griffin aluminum radiuator in there no problem, I'll still have 1.4 inch or so between the engine and radiator LOL

Recieved a few goodies for my 1jz swap today :D

-one of those ebay huge fmic 31x12x3 something like 980mmx600mm?
-supra mk4 tt water pump assembly,
-cheap ebay under drive pulley set. I figured I would give it a try, it only cost me 42 bucks shipped, and a replacement water pump pulley from toyota is 70bucks. If these dont work out, I will go to the greddy pully set, wihch I actually plan on doing eventually anyways.

Anyways, I definately will not have to worry about my intercooler not cooling enough :beer

Haltech E6X - not wired up yet though. Also going to use an AEM 8 channel CDI which I will hopefully get soon.

Will the haltech control the stock coil over plug dis setup, or is that aem cdi needed to control spark?

naw, I was talking about hccas 2jz swap. Athough I just realized the guy doing the 1jz swap used a supra setup.... hmm maybe its cheaper to get a supra rear sump instead of getting a new swaybar made...

Yeah, it will work with the stock setup. There are certain advantages in cdi, but it also simplifies the wiring a bit :)

A rear sump will probably hit either your steering or the crossmember. A custom sway shouldn't cost much - most of the time they're not custom anyway - they just find one off another car that fits. I have to do the same thing.

before you drive it fix that dam steering! Being on the wrong side it could be dangerous!!! :P
My JA has perfect motor - FMIC - forgies - high flow head but...rusted front guards and keyed on every panel. Time to get serious or time to take it to the tip.

Well, looks like haltec it is :D I know the stock ignition system isnt that great, maybe I will go witht he aem cdi later.

I wasnt sure if I was the only one having to get a new sway bar. I have the engine sitting real low, damn oil pan sits blow the crossmember a good 3/4 inch. I may have to put some spacers under the engine mounts, since there are some ihghways around here where I could bottom out and nail thta oil pan :x

sounds like a cheap starion owner excuse there :)

So far I am into this about,... 2300 dollars. Add a haltech, and sell my stock ecu, then maybe.... 2800, add some misc parts, then im at 3100 or so.. Most of this crap isnt even swap related, its just upgrading. Intercooler, fuel pump, fuel lines, hard pipes, etc..
