hi just joined the site.. Im from the UK and have a 2.0L widebody starion. Ive been looking for a decent forum for these cars for a while now :D
here's the car the only mods so far is the KnN filter and drilled air box, SARD dump valve and an uprated fuel pump. Its off for a S/S exhaust next week though.
Yes. It was only the US who got the 2.6 from the word go.
UK Starions were 2L except for some of the later model widebody's, same as the rest of the world. 2L widebody is A184 I beleive. 2.6 is A187. I reinstalled my computer, so I dont have Mitsubishi CAPS anymore, so I cant just look it up again :(
1997 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV 4G63BT
1996 Nissan Maxima VQ30DE (for sale, suit someone who likes the feel of boats when driving)
Possibly cheaper all up as they are already RHD, so no conversion costs. I'd still go for a japanese one however, as all the routes are already setup, you can pay someone else to sort it out
you might not want one from over here i spent months cutting rot out of mine there were holes in every wheel arch. You could fit your fist through a couple of them! :x good job i love welding its all solid now.

Except legally you have to put in a KPH speedo.
Then legally you have to get a KPH speedo that has the exact same km's as the miles one ie: whatever the miles converts to.
Not much to screw with there, you can wind speedo's around either way. Just hope you get one you have to wind forward.
When I had a Euro spec staz it came with a speedo that had a MPH in large bold writing and kph in a smaller white text on the inner side of the mph text, not sure if they carried these through all their models though.

Yep loads of it!!! :x never mind though my cars totally fixed and waxoiled and filled full of cavity wax and it dosent go out in bad weather i use a daliy runner diesel shitbox for that.
Has anyone tried using a HKS fuel cut defender to get around the fuel cut on the ecu? I only ask as theres one sitting in my garage.
