Its a miracle

Post by SpidersWeb »

I'm rather happy today, and you guys are probably the only that can understand why

I ordered a TC06-11 off the internet, for an intercooled Starion.

Just before I completed the deal I found out it was recently rebuilt and never used (we've all heard that before).

So I paid $376 including postage and all that.

I got it today, and umm, he was not lying! Its a miracle, I got a TC06 off the internet without it turning up broken. There is no play at all in the turbo shaft, it spins freely, and still has plugs in the oil connections to prevent contamination. The turbine housing looks brand new also. There is no chips or dents in the blades, and it came with the wastegate actuator and arm still attached.

It was also clean.

I was impatient and bypassed the auction process. So cant really name the user. But I will say '1800 Starion' - which if you were watching the auctions, should ring a bell.
