S.E.Q. Cruise Sunday 10th of April.

Post by Abalistic »

I would like to suggest a meeting of Starions at Maclean's Bridge, Beaudesert Hwy on Sunday 10th of April, midday onwards.
Any takers?, suggestions, ideas welcome.

P.S. Nice open park there and nice open roads.

I'm there provided my work trip doesn't get extended again.

Mclean's bridge is just north of Jimboomba. Might be a bit far for some. Maybe somewhere more central to Brisbane might be better. Mt Cootha or Mt Gravatt or something like that.

Mt Cootha or Mt Gravatt would suit me.

more central to Brisbane IS Brisbane, does everyone here with a Stazz live on the southside? I'm on the northside, and it'd take me an hour plus just to get to Mt Gravatt /Beaudesert... what about Southbank?

I live on the westside.

I don't care where it is, but there needs to be somewhere to park (ie. southbank = bad, mt cootha would be ok as long as it's not at the summit)

Ok, OK, It's hard to please all, we should try to stay away from crowds and we need space. A park is ideal. What about Jindalee water park, it's near the Jindalee bridge. Easy drive for North, West and South.

I think It's the old Amazon water park site. Near the bridge.
Any suggestions? Let's try and do something, Starions are starting to get hard to maintain. If we talk about it we can help each other out.

Empty or quiet carpark is a pre-requesite. Is amazons still open?

Just bear in mind that at least one person will be coming from the Gold Coast, so try not to stray too far away, or make it a hard place to find.

Bartley's hill is another good spot. Reasonably central too.

According to 'whereis.com' it's 43k' from here and it should take me 1 hour to get there, so it sounds good to me..
