Are the Aussie, UK, and JDM VIN's 17 digits like the US-Spec? My old 'Quest VIN was...

In the front of the US-spec service manual it has a description, is it the same for all countries? Anyone got a FSM (Factory Service Manual)?

My old jap import's VIN was A183A5000329
I now have a UK-spec 2L widebody, I might look tonight if I remember.

Wow, that's your VIN? That looks like the code on the US Firewall Plate. For example, mine is...
A187AMRFGLF (which is our full Model Code).
