for anyone that is looking for an idle speed control for any intake really (it uses a stepper motor) then there are about 8 non carb XF's at pnp at the moment with the idle speed controllers bolted onto the top of the rocker cover. You'll need about an 8mm socket/spanner i believe (something like that...didnt get one cause i didnt have the right size tools at the time) and im sure it will be a darnsight cheaper than getting a new one (i was quoted 165 for a new one...:P)

Also at the moment there is a sonata with the manifold but no plenum, and also has injecotrs, injector plugs and injector seats...still havent found a replacement optical disc tho :( none of the sonatas had their dizzy's left and the l300s are all non opticals at the moment.

Will, if your running an L300 manifold and T/B then you can just get an L300 stepper motor and bolt it on.
The L300 had a stepper motor? I believe I am using L300 manifold + TB. Cool... I'll have to take a closer look to see where it bolts on. Are the L300 idle motors rare/expensive?
Yep, they bolt onto the t/b using the two left bolts that attach it to the manifold. I can take a pic if you want.

I also have an L300 stepper sitting here doing nothing if your interested.

Does the stepper motor push on the throttle plate stop? or does it plumb in with hoses to bypass the throttle? I'm looking at the pics on

and I can't see where it would plumb in on the side before the throttle plate.

I'll keep your stepper motor in mind if I can't find any in Sydney. Thanks for the offer and the info.

Your thinking of a bypass valve. Anyway in the pic on Mrb1's site, that t/b looks like its from a VL.
