This is the website for the bars:

Lots of pictures and info. I use the front/rear sets and they make a lot of difference in the handling.

Just a quick note, Shawn (the owner of the website link) hadn't got any made for the Aus Starion last I emailed him. I was working on making them fit with him. It was pretty sorted, but there was not a lot of point making a batch with nobody to order them.

Thanks for hijacking my thread. You guys wonder why no one makes anything to suit starions, its because when we try, we get shat on.

Will be back from UK in 2 weeks or so, if the interest is around, will consider adding Starions to the list....

Sorry Grumbly, apologies for the hijack.

The US made ones aren't available as far as I know although he was thinking of doing them assuming there was interest.

If you are planning to do them then that would be better cos shipping will be less, we have access to the cars so they can fit etc. If you need a hand, I may be able to help if you like.
Also I don't know if you realise but the distance between the srtut towers is different from Staz to Cordia, so you may have difficulty if you plan on using the same bar for both (probably the same situation for magna and lancer.)

no one is shitting on you grumbly.
I think people want something which will make considerable difference to the handling of the car, and i think a firewall attached version would be of more benefit.

But if you don't do it I would still buy one and probably get it modified to attach it to the firewall.

Have a good one, hope it goes well :D

Cheers

I guess we will have to wait and see what price your looking for first, but like camo sed, no-one is shitting on you, it just makes sense to look at all the possible options.

no one here indulges in scat (that i know of, except maybe for decoy. but thats kept quiet :|).. anyways,Id be up for a bar, front and rear, and if there is an option for a firewall attachment I'll look at that too, altho not necessary..

ok, thanks guys.
Al, will contact you for measurements when I get back.
Will also check with a few adelaide guys regarding clearance for different engines/ manifolds etc.
Price, if possible, will be $175. All going as planned, this will be with polished stainless ends and include shipping. No matter what, they will be UNDER $200.

no plans for firewall as yet, but may look into a "bolt on" option.
all suggestions gratefully accepted.
will look into rear bar too.
now I must go...plane leaves in 9 hours :D

You are just creating a triangle by going back to the firewall, hence the extra strength.

cant confirm until prototype made. adelaide volunteers seem to have disappeared.
I am trying for under $200 shipped, with polished end plates. Lower if I can.
