Did one of the most awkward jobs I've ever had to do on a car. I found the 8mm ball bearing was missing in the reversing switch. The switch is above the transmission mount (which was covered in dirt/oil) and is fitted vertically. Did this while lying half in a flower bed with no jack with just one arm at full stretch, trying to balance a ball bearing on the switch. A bit of moly grease helped stick things together and a lot of reaching about to feel where to place it, then trying to screw it in while the cable is trying to fight you from turning it! Done now and tidied up the dog mess wiring on the under side!
Anyone else got other stories?!
