NICK : ssb2005
MODEL : JA
BUILD DATE : 2/1982
COMP DATE : 5/1982
VIN NUMBER : 000514
OPTIONS : E59, D26
TRIM CODE : AI
PAINT : Blue

I found the car in Coober Pedy, the guy I brought it off used to rally them as a privateer in the 1980's. Its pretty much 100% stock with an 80's triple stack Pioneer tape deck / amp / EQ in the dash and an 80's turbo timer. Body needs some love as the paint is faded and the motor, turbo, and ECI setup were buggered when i brought it

VIN NUMBER : 0027

I'm the 2nd owner of this Aus delivered JD. I bought it back in '96 with 90K kms on it and have owned it ever since. Its currently a garden ornament (seized balance shaft I believe) on my nature strip and I'm itching to get it back to its original glory.

Just for the records, here's a pic of the compliance plate of a JB for sale in Sydney (Kellyville) recently. About a year ago!
Pic is just visible to show the highest JB number so far!
Image

It's a JB Numbered #0224. Build date 9/85. Silver with maroon trim and D60 optioned. It's interesting that JD's build dates commenced in the next month, 10/85.
