Help with My Staz

Post by Stariondrifter »

Guys and Gals :)

I am struggling to find time to get my car running.
I am mainly going to use it for track and drifting but I also bought it to teach myself as I go.
I have had the thing for more than a year and haven't really got too far.

I don't want to sell it because I love the thing.

OK so if there is anyone around Brisbane that can help me work on the car that would be fanbloodytastic.

I will put up a list to be done soon.
Some things I can do myself but others like installing gauges and such hasnt really worked yet.

Even if its an hour on a weekend or a few minutes, that will get it closer to being ready for the track.

Cheers
Matt

Hi Matt!
I notice you're into drifting Starions! Awesome :beer

I also drift them, and am happy to help with advice, info, parts, etc any time you want. Unfortunately I'm in Melbourne, so am not able to easily drop over and help in person, but hopefully there's a few guys up there who can help you with that stuff.

If you're after drifting info, there's a few posts I've made, and there's also many more posts that others have made that are also fantastic for info. You'll find people pretty friendly and helpful here, so many people have helped me out from here too with various things.

Here's some posts that you may find useful too:

Most of us here are also used to projects being slow and only happening bit by bit. I've been slowly getting these things happening for years, but slowly you'll get there :)

Enjoy!

Hey Matt, Welcome!

So good to finally have another person wanting to drift a starion in qld! I'm in the process of getting mine into gear as a drifter/weekend driven vehicle.. So hopefully i'll be able to come down to QR events as i live 4 hours north in bundaberg. I would love to help out also.. just wish i was a tad closer.. best bet which you are lucky is to hit up redzone as his a local to your area. But yeah as stated by mitsu.. please ask away for advice as alot of us can benefit from answers others give also. enjoy your stay! :D.

I am starting to think we need to rename Qld from the sunshine state to the starion state :)

On the North side we have redzone, South Me and Derek and heading west Old fart. Those three have forgotten more about building/fixing Starions than most people will ever know. Oh and me, well um i cna break mine pretty well :)

Good luck!!!
