Just had our first decent quake in a couple weeks... Funny enough I almost miss them :?
Nothing big enough to bring down a building or anything thankfully... but just enough to make you remember the past.
Long time no see... well feel...

They seem to get more noticeable towards the end of a month, maybe its the moon lol just kidding.
I haven't felt any in ages although have found the odd thing on the ground after work lately, was blaming the cats. If I have to pick up all the dvd's yet again they're going in the bin.

Well apparently when the moon is closer to the earth (at the end and begining of the month) we are more prone to quakes. Something to do with the gravity the moon in inflicting being closer...
I don't know...
I went on the redzone bus tour last night. Was a real eye opener! There is so little of the city left :( Quite sad really...

Was wondering about the redzone tour, surely not much to look at but empty city blocks?
From what I see at the few places I goto on the edges of the redzone all we remember is gone and how we navigate from what we see is forever dissappeared.
I thought originally that it wouldn't concern me but you're right its a sad sight to see not helped by there being no people anymore.
Not suprisingly our rental car company is almost toast as there are no inner city accomodation/backpackers etc or any tourists. We'll hold on until winter and hope the Aussies come back for skiing.
I'm gonna replace them with a WOF ticket, keep all the dodgy Starions road legal. LOL
