Yeah, you'd have to be a complete idiot to put it in a brake line (or advertise that's where it should go) Imagine the lawsuit if you had no brakes on this products say so...

You should buy one and do this exact thing documenting the procedure then take the company for all it's worth.

(use an old sigma or soemthing *shrug* and put it into a barrier at low speed)
