What is my GSR-V worth?

Hey guys, soon will be putting insurance back on my GSR-V, what do you reakon its worth ..... (in NZ)

85 GSR-V
sirus Dash Engine - intercooled with TD05-14 Turbo
recon Engine, with oversized evo pistons
body kit
16" mags
2.5" exhaust
approx 149,000 K's
Body has a a respray

The insurance company dont really have a clue what the value is :D

Mines insured for 7k with shannon's for a standard gsrv.

Low km's, resprayed and fully optioned.
You will need to insure it with a specialised insurer such as Shannons. You also need to argue your case.
Limited numbers.
Imported model and to replace the same model from Japan and have it shipped will cost 'x' amount
Show recent sales of GSR-V's and GSR-VR's or EX's etc
Back up with photo's and receipts of improvements...

With those kms I would say around $5-7k depending on condition.

also, did you still want those trim strips? still got them here!
