This is a Well Kept Starion Turbo JA Model from the 80s

Mitsubishi STARION TURBO!!!,Authentic Rare 80s era Sports Car!



With a majestic blend of intimidating looks & grace, this catwalk beauty is a performance classic.



Presenting the Starion!. Mitsubishi Best built 2 Door, Rear Wheel Drive Turbo Sports Coupe of Its time. Remembered to be a Thrill of a Drive, Futuristic styling, and a powerhouse of fun within a squirt of the throttle mixed with Boost. Even Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear personally owned one of these. Although when it featured in the Movie Cannonball Run 2 with Celebrity Actor Jackie Chan. This car was truly an amazing machine and was just really desirable.



It has an absolute perfect straight body and original genuine side Turbo Stickers.





Mechanically A1 Condition, Engine has been completely rebuilt Top+bottom in excess of $3000 worth of work.

Currently only run in around 2000kms so far.

Turbocharger+ 5 Speed Gearbox also been rebuilt as well. Factory LSD!

Also Fitted Was a Special Designed Intercooler System at the Cost of $1500 from the USA.



I simply cannot stress enough how fresh the engine is internally, a peek under the rocker cover reveals all.

The View of the Top Section of the Engine Via the rocker cover looks as if it were done yesterday.



Bearings, seals, rings, valves, headwork all done professionally!



I have Huge Pile of All Receipts and Documentation paperwork for all Work carried out on the car for any Enthusiastic Buyer to Sit Down and Read over a coffee together. These Date from the 80s to Present time. In total all the papers weighing 1kg. Including receipts for the Rebuild as stated above.



This Car has been unregistered and Farm and Barn Stored Since 2007.



The Air-conditioning System has been recently repaired and serviced by removal of all airvents, heaterbox, evaporator, Strip down, clean, Hand wash and dry, Antibacterial Disinfected 4 Times to Guarantee that it kills and removes any Dust, germs, mould, odours, bacteria and pollen that could of have built up overtime ensuring Clean Sterile Air to be circulated for the Peace of mind, health & safety and comfort of the Driver and Passengers.





This Starion is to only suit a Truly Passionate Automobile Collector.



The Only Bad Points=

1.
The Roof is Faded and there are a few speckles of surface rust appearing on the bottom of the doors. This is Normal & better than Expected and perfectly fine for its age of a 30 year old car with original paintwork.
2.
Over time with any car that is stored, the issue of fuel going off, becoming stale,smelly and causing contamination.



The Car Completely Is Very Original and unmodified, the kms are genuine.



This starion is truly mechanically A1, now just requires a minor paint touch up, fresh fuel and will be instantly ready to be glorified by entering into a Vintage Buyers collection also to be used upon Australian Film making where scenes are backdated to the 80s.

Or to Re register for a great weekend car to enjoy with the kids or the Wife/Misses/Girlfriend or Mistress.







This Starion Is a True Dream and has serious Potential and Collectors appeal.

I think it is a complete farce when some sellers add 'disclaimers' to their ebay auctions, especially AFTER bids have been placed. Eg: "Car is for sale elsewhere so auction can be cancelled at anytime" or like in the auction above.

In other words, "I will start my auction at a low starting price with no reserve (to attract interest and to avoid listing fees), and if it doesn't reach what I want and I can't get a mate to bump the price up, I will reneg on the auction."
