Video of my car, take a ride with me...

Post by Komeuppance »

(Watch it in HD, and full screen it FTW)

Testing out my video setup. I would have had in car video but the camera I was using recorded to hard disk drive. It stopped recording on the first 1-2 shift. Haha... couldn't handle the G's!! As you will see the rear mount needs more stabilization, or any stabilization. The front is mounted directly on the airdam, 2.5" from the ground.

This is the road I take everyday on my way to and from work... and that's the way I drive it most of the time (traffic, cops, neighbors). You can't hear the airdam scrape, but it does every time in the same place the exhaust scrapes. And no, I won't raise it... perfect height!!

Now, time to scrape some bugs off my camera.

Russell Coight: Some of the animals are nocturnal, so the best time to see them is at night. Only you can't see them, because it's dark.

You could start your own new series.
Instead of 'Getaway In Stockholm', you could have 'Getaway In Oregon', or whatever town or city you live closest to.

Your road there reminds me of a lot of roads here.

Looks like good fun... :)

Camera's are just simple point and shoot Canon's, nothing fancy. If they were fancy, I'm not sure I would have mounted them outside the car... haha...

Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.
