The "Starion" name ain't sacred no more

Post by panda »

I guess that after nearly 30 years of exclusive use of the name Starion, by Mitsubishi, some one else has now used it to identify a model of their product.
Yes, you can now buy a STARION CARAVAN, manufactured by Galaxy Caravans in Melbourne.
I had hoped that manufacturers would give the name Starion the respect it deserves, but alas, it has now degenerated into a caravan.
When I saw it today I had to look twice, but there it was in big graphics on each side & the rear.
Hopefully future generations will not get the two confused or associated with each other. :(
Dreams have no limits.
