Thanks Rad, great response from everyone. Thank you to the people that have called me. I am still in Sydney and will keep trying to get her running. Any info from anyone would be great!

Cheers

Yeah, generally good people on here. Not like other forums...
Best of luck getting it going Sonic.
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...

Basically, car starts but wont run when accelerator applied. Some gremlin present!!

Ecu tested with others...
Injectors swapped over...
Map sensor swapped...
Fuel tank drained/cleaned and new pump...has the cone filter in the hose been removed???
I still think it may be a fuel issue as I have been through this 2 times with cars from overseas that have been lying around for years.

Hope you find the fault!

Do starions have a TPS? If so, I'd be betting it's that.

also try clamping the fuel line coming from the pressure regulator. Mine did the same thing and it turned out to be a dicky fuel pressure regulator.

took my car over so he could check that he's plugged all the vacuum lines in correctly..

My theory is it's dodgy/ 20 year old wiring causing a short somewhere.. i guess we'll find out when he's home. or further down the track..

it was good meetin ya Tyson. Sorry I couldn't be much help. I'm shite at these things lol. I'm only a driver.. I'm no good at working on cars.
