trying to make my car look as good as deeks, i went to the local hardware grabbed some paint stripper, polish etc an began work on my rocker cover....hehehe worst thing i could of done...pain in da ass to get all the paint off...now i gota polish...should of payed some one to do it...
dont recommend it for anyone...unless your bored an want to stuff around all day..

i didn't have much probs with the paint stripper... just some burning sensations 
but yeh, polishing it was a SLART! took me a couple of hours to just polish the top flat bit by hand nicely before i gave up on the rest :? painted the rest that time, then learnt the 2nd time when the engine was out and sent it to someone to get polished!

It's really not that hard, just soak the crap out of it with paint stripper, then go down to car lovers at night and blast it. Easy.
Don't bother polishing it by hand, go to the hardware shop and get a polishing kit for your drill. Most kits come with different grades of abrasive wheels, and cloth wheels.
