Yeah the harder the tyres on a dyno the better the dyno figure. The softer the tyres on the track the better result. Go figure rofl Its always the way being backwards

Taking 2 spare wheels with some 2nd hand hard tyres back Tues after driver training at Willowbank so hopefully can get better numbers if we can get better grip on the rollers as well as some fine tuning at the lower end of the rev range
Guru has just come back from a test drive in "his inheratence " as he calls myJB and reports getting wheel spin in 3rd .Don't know if I should believe him when he says he wasn't trying to hard :?

Just got back from my test drive of Oldiie's staz with the new motor and it's quite impressive!!! It breaks traction in first, second and third gear is somwhat fun (when they are not your tyres that is) and this was with semi slick tyres.

Doesn't need a twin cam.

Kit, this was done in a controlled track testing area not on the road....

Oldie, Needs more grip on the back before I take delivery though

Who thinks that Gary (KIT ) is running scared if he won't lend Oldie his back wheels & tyres because he thinks that I might get a better dyno reading if I can get all of the mighty strokers torque to the rollers without wheelspin ?????????????????

I've got some 205/50R15s on rims that you're welcome to borrow that will fit on the rear. I think they are simex somethings normally on my Lancer. They are sitting in the garage waiting for me to refit the diff.
