hey guys, i'm entered this year, also rad (old fart) is aswell, anyone interested in seeing some starion's caning around a closed off industrial area should come have a look :) i had my gemini enttered originally but have run out of $$ to get it ready in time so the white JB is coming out to play....

I might come out for a geez provided its not pissing down.
What day are you guys actually racing? Sat or Sun? Or perhaps what is the better day to come out for a look.

both saturday and sunday are race days, saturday arvo has a burnout comp for all the local blokes to impress the local sheilas, and u usually get 2 timed runs before that happens. sunday is an earlier start and usually has 3 runs against the clock.... hope to see u there!

If all goes well we'll get 3 runs on Saturday which is maybe the better day as it starts later and the runs finish at about 5 pm whereas on Sunday it starts at 7 am and starts to wind up from around 3pm with only the top 10 running , although we will get at least 2 and maybe 3 runs on Sunday as well .

As far as the weather goes , every year we've headed out it's been wet on the coasts but once we got west of Ipswich it was dry so it should be ok .

Some support against the hordes of WRX's is always appreciated

Just home from sprints but dont know times 4 last run but the old guy was app 1/10 th in front of Dave after 5 runs .
Was on a blinder the final run and stuffed up final corner

so Dave may have pipped me on his last run
But Anthony aka mr ralliart made the top 10 shootout in his evo 3 !!!!
Dave had a video so i'm sure he will post pics when he gets home

i'll give a proper run down tonight, but we cleaned up! i got second in my class with a 41.2 second run, i was only car in top 5 of my class on street tyres :D

mr ralliart did a 37.3 and was in top 10 and new member of the 39 second club :beer

russell actually had a starion a few years ago, he LOVES them still, rates as one of the most fun cars he's owned.... they won the meet with a ballistic 33 second run! broke the course record which was set by an open wheeler...........
