Gaskets

Post by TOMSUN »

I need... some gaskets

- oil pump gasket
- the big gasket for the aluminium plate at the front of the engine
- sump gasket

Where can I buy them?

Or has some one them that they could spare? :D

PS: I have a new spare head head gasket to swap???

Cheers,
Pete

Mitsubishi is the only place to get the timing case gasket (alloy plate) and you'll get stung about $35 or more for it.

Oil pump and sump from auto parts stores.
Powerplant: Chipped stock ECU, 2044cc, 8.5:1, head intake enlarged and polished, exhaust manifold enlarged,
Balance-shafts eliminated, Intercooled, TC06 @ 10psi, 2.5" high flow exhaust system and dump pipe.

Most L300 4B63 bits will fit.

Ive used a Sump Gasket meant for a 4G63 L300 van.
Its the same thing.

all thse should be in a conversion gasket set i reckon..

conversion gasket set is basically what they call the set u get for swapping an engine over like an import motor, u usually get bottom end gaskets and seals. like whats missing from a vrs set.

anywhere should sell em, except for repco, for whom starion's dont exist LOL

Redzone... I was in luck. :beer

The great guys a Pep's Spares Liverpool were able to help me with "Conversion Gasket set" but he put a special order for me to leave the head gasket out as I already have 2 spares and I'm looking to run a Cometic MLS anyway. $40. Include all the gaskets I needed and all seals.

Note the gasket maker was Bovic Automotive (but I couldn't find them in the white pages???)
